Case Study: CHiQ Product Launch


Event Brief

The purpose of the CHiQ Product launch was to let the Australian market know that ChangHong, a Chinese consumer electronics company, was changing its branding and product range. The event also served as showcase for the new CHiQ range of televisions and refrigeration. Established in 1958, ChangHong has been the best selling TV in the Chinese market for 18 consecutive years. It has witnessed significant prosperity and is now one of the largest Chinese consumer electronics and home appliances providers specializing in R&D, manufacturing and marketing of various series of products including TV, refrigerator, air conditioner, cell phone, electronic components, compressor, etc.


Our Proposal

To showcase the new CHiQ range from ChangHong, the theme of the event was based on the Formula 1 Grand Prix to fit with CHiQ’s sponsorship of the F1 Grand Prix and its Chinese heritage. As guests enter the beautiful event space of the Park Hyatt Sydney, they were greeted by stunning grid girls and traditional Chinese Harpist. The evening opens with some networking and tasty canapés that were very well received by our guests. The new CHiQ products are highlights of the event – showcased around the room for guests to view. A roving magician makes his way through the audience, entertaining guests with CHiQ smart facts using CHiQ business cards. To enhance engagegment and create a memorable experience, guests have the opportunity to compete against each other on a virtual racing simulator, bringing a realistic Formula 1 Grand Prix atmosphere to the event. Guests are gifted with a CHiQ branded gift bag and hat to commemorate the night.
